Our Challenge
We are looking for a Data Analyst to help usher in the next generation of the Aquicore platform, working on a robust and scalable data platform and providing data services that deliver truly unique products to market. We are seeking someone highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics including mining, generation, and visualization. The ideal candidate is committed to transforming raw data into information, information into insights, and insights into actionable business decisions. A successful Data Analyst will leverage their expertise to support internal business units and external customers to deliver high-quality data products and services to market reliably and scalably. We will challenge you to:
*Focus on solutions, share ideas, and solve problems rather than execute queries*Identify patterns across large datasets, and translate them into heuristics*Unify data sets and query data models from dozens of sources*Construct meaningful data visualizations and interactions that deliver information and key insights to stakeholders*Bring to life the platform that allows our customers to collect millions of data points from live sensors in commercial buildings, and utilize the information in helpful ways
The Impact You’ll Have
As a Data Analyst, you will work as part of our Data team alongside Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists to create high quality deliverables that improve our ability to deliver business value to customers. You will query, extract, and process data into valuable business insights that help power Aquicore's internal business operations and customer platform. You will query, analyze, and visualize data from dozens of sources across databases, data warehouses, and data visualization systems. You will have a key role in illuminating insights and products that make a difference in our world.

  • Self-starter with the drive, determination, and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Enjoys technology, cutting-edge software, and thrives in a small team environment
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and demonstrable experience with reporting packages (Looker or Tableau) and database query writing (PostgreSQL or others)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong presentation skills to present findings to all levels of the organization
  • Adept at report writing and the process of receiving & integrating feedback
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • 3+ years experience as a data analyst
