About the Role:
AngelList Venture is looking for an highly analytical and self-motivated Data Analyst that is passionate about using their technical skills to democratize data, metrics and insights for the team. AngelList Venture provides the tools that make it simple for anyone to become a funder or founder.
Reporting into the Director of Business Operations, you will be working closely with the GMs on reporting, dashboards and insights. The ideal candidate will have a track record of establishing success metrics across operations to understand business health and providing data-driven insights to scale our business.

You will:

• Be the go-to analytics owner for business and operations.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to help leadership and teams make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with the leadership and teams and leverage data to inform, develop, and iterate on strategic business initiatives.
• Design, build and maintain BI infrastructure to improve data integrity.
• Inspire the team with data narratives to guide insights and ideation.
• Work with non-technical partners and product teams to understand their needs and come up with an automated end-to-end solutions for measurement.
• Contribute to data-driven roadmap development for operational efficiency and automation, helping to shape the long term strategy of the Operations organization.

Other characteristics of the ideal candidate:

• 3+ years experience with quantitative data analysis
• Ability to problem solve with ambiguity.
• Expert knowledge of SQL, preferable experience with python and data science.
• Experience designing & implementing data ecosystem including reporting & dashboards.
• Strong written and communication skills
• Relevant high-growth startup experience preferred
