Data Engineer
About us100ms is building a Platform-as-a-Service for developers integrating video-conferencing experiences into their apps. Our SDKs enable developers to add gold standard audio-video quality conferencing with much faster shipping times. 100ms allows shipping live conferencing application time in days instead of months, allowing companies to focus on their core business.

We are a remote-first global team with engineers who've built video infrastructure at Facebook and Hotstar.
We are in search of a data engineer who can help in building the infrastructure to ingest and store billions of events per day and enable analytics on them.
What Would You DoAs a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for:
1.Partner with technical leadership, engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs.
2.You will implement data pipelines and infrastructure to ingest billions of events a day.
3.You will be responsible for enabling analytics(real-time and batch) and machine learning on rich datasets.
4.Share technical practices, build development teams, and improve workflows.
5.Mentorship of other team members
Who Can Apply1.Bachelor's degree in (Computer Science/Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience2.Proficient in Go or Python or any other server-side programming language1+ years of experience in data engineering.3.Experience in building and running resilient data pipelines in production and have experience in implementing ETL/ELT4.Experience in working with Bigdata/MPP technologies like Redshift, Druid, BigQuery, Flink, etc.5.Experience in writing high quality, maintainable SQL on large datasets.6.Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, real time analytics
Good to have->Prior experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.->Hands-on experience with Kubernetes->Ability to take on complex and ambiguous problems->Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically->Strong inclination to keep up-to-date with latest trends, learn new concepts, or contribute to open-source projects and would be eager to talk about ideas in internal or external forums. Open to work on constructive feedback and proactively shares the same with peers.
